If our elevators went out I wouldn't be able to get to work. Walking up stairs for 44 stories is not something I'd like to do, EVER.

as a person who legitimy has a placard it pisses me off when i see a fat person waddle into the store from a parking spot.

I don't use them (well much. usuallyl in winter when my hips bother me) much. i try to save them for someone who really needs them. like wheelchair vans. they need lots of room!

I know exactly what you're saying. As a healthy person it angers to me to see people take advantage of a thing that is really needed by some.

I'm a people watcher. I will sometimes follow the fat people into the store to see if my stereotyping is correct. It never fails that these are the same people that will block a whole aisle walking beside their friend. These people are usually large enough that the two of them walking next to each other leaves no room for air let alone other people. They generally will yell at least once while in the store. Its also a safe bet they they will take at least 30 items (each) through the 12 item or less lane. They will usually whip out some sort of food stamp card to pay for their unhealthiest of food choices. They are also sure to leave their cart halfway in the parking spot so that the next person has to either hit it or get out to take care of it for them.

It really makes me question why society permits things like this. Why is acceptable that the rest of the world has to bend for these types of people. Why should I have to circle around 2 aisles over to get my Reese's Puffs just because there are 2 beached whales arguing over pop tarts? Why should people who really are handicapped have to park farther away because Bertha convinced her doctor that her flat feet prevents her from being able to walk like a normal person? Why the fuck can't we cuss these people out and give them some inspiration to contribute to society? Why can't I poke their back fat rolls with a stick to get them to walk like a normal person? Why doesn't someone just off these people and make the world a better place to live?
