While I understand the intent of your post, I have to disagree with faucent != tap. Those terms are interchangeable all day every day.

Because I know to get water from a faucet, but I don't know if I should tap on my water reserve, or to tap the guy next to me to get me some water, while patiently tapping my toes on the floor before I have to tap out due to lack of water.
