Here's what I have ordered thus far:

Note that prices reflect the time of posting, some of these deals are ShellShockers or Daily Deals, and thus are time-sensitive, if you want to replicate this build, at this price. Total is $483.92, not counting storage (SSD) and GPU (required with Ryzen CPUs, they don't have an iGPU) and Windows. (Samsung 860 EVO 500GB is $54.99 right now, and a GTX 1660 Super is around $229.99 MSRP, and Windows, well, I'll leave that up to you.)

I have heard that there could be issues using the AX200 card in AMD AM4 builds, something about the drivers requiring an Intel CPU. I hope that's not true. Here's a couple of alternative networking cards too, both wireless and wired, both Rosewill brand.

Another alternative mobo, if you wanted RGB on the mobo itself, would be the ASRock B550M Steel Legend micro-ATX.

Why are you ordering this now, and not waiting for the 5000 Series?

Why are you ordering this now, and not waiting for the 5000 Series?
A few reasons. When 5000 series drops (*is that today? Newegg was hella slow just this morning for some reason), the price of B550 mobos is going to likely skyrocket. (Maybe not during Nov. though? As that is a "sale month".)

Also, it was kind of a spur-of-the-moment build. The 3100 was basically a place-holder, and the lowest that you can go for a CPU on B550 is really Zen2, correct?

I've got a friend with a rig that I sold/gave him the parts too, that seems to still be having some issues, so that rig only cost him like $200-280 in parts, so I thought that might build a pair of these, sort of a "his and hers" for him and his GF.

Everything just sort of came together, all of the white RGB cooler, case, fans, memory, etc. I guess I just thought that it would be "neat" to build. And that's the beauty of getting a B550 (on sale), is that Zen3 should be mostly a drop-in, I expect, or at least, I can flash the BIOS with Zen2.

I expect to throw in a (*maybe) either GTX 1650 or GTX 1660 ti, and then upgrade these rigs to a Zen3 12-core or something (5900X), when my friend's funds allow. Should still be able to get in some decent gaming with this setup, as-is. (But OH, the RAM is slow, only 3000. But it was on ShellShocker for $59.99.)

Edit: Then there's this factor, too:
