I'm trying to set up a motion sensor night light for the side door hall-way. There is no ground wiring for wall installed motion sensor illumination. My other option is to stick a motion sensor night light (wall plug in)
Again I've run into a problem. This is the wall switch and socket:
The problem is the wall plug in motion sensor night light has the fat ended neutral and normal form factor prongs.. this leaves the wall mount to face up towards the switch. The switch is need for a light at the bottom of the stairs so I can't just install an outlet.
What's my other options? File down the prongs on the plug in night light?
