Effort to declare Palestinian State as close as two weeks

To some extent, this caught me flat footed, bur now Israel and Netanyuhu is in a giant panic that the EU, the US, Russia and the UN are ready to unilaterally declare a Palestinian State in as little as two weeks, but certainly by September 2011.

Initially Netanyuhu was planning to send his top diplomatic aides to try to get the EU to change its mind, but when that became basically futile, now Netabyuhu has put all his eggs in the get Russia to save us strategy. Which right now looks very shaky. As for the position of the USA, the link is rather silent.

In related news Netanyuhu is trying to persuade the UN head, Moon, to back Israel's intention of blocking a large 15 ship flotilla heading for Gaza sometimes between May 15 to May 31, 2011. And who knows, its possible that the UN will instead rule Israel's blockade of Gaza is illegal.

Other than that, its somewhat looking like the world pressure on Israel to start making large concession will continue to build, as the world now seemingly refuses to buy the former Israeli excuses and propaganda.

As for why the link said nothing about Obama puzzles me, but as we recall, when Obama was brokering peace talks he set a deadline of 9/2011 to ink a final deal And maybe Netanyuhu thought he made a fool out of Obama, and we may find its Obama that will make a fool of Netanyuhu.

He is in denial. He sees the rockets as nothing more than flicking spit-wads and ignores all the previous cease-fires broken by Hamas in the past. Suicide bombers are nothing more than freedom fighters and his translation of Hamas stating Israel should be removed off the face of the planet is We Want Peace.

Or maybe you should realize the time for Israeli stalling on a Palestinian State is finally ending and Netanyuhu made a giant mistake in refusing the request for a settlement freeze.

Once we have an established Palestinian State, there is likely to be some continued tit for tat violence on all sides, but we can only hope it will fade over time.

But the point is, none of us will be the deciders, but Israeli world wide cred has been really dying especially after Israel boarded the Rachel Corrie in international waters less than a year ago, gunning down nine Turks in the process.

I was speaking of Israel, not the USA which is nothing but the imperialist master pulling the Israeli puppet strings. On that note I would like to point out that I myself am of Jewish ancestry and fellow people of the community in the USA I know feel the same, we all support Israeli right to exist but the debate in this country is very biased to other religions agendas that enable the problem to continue. Palestinians and Jewish people are historical allies that work together, there is no reason for this conflict but imperialist meddling by fundamentalists on all sides.

True, except Israel is a tiny piece compared to Trans-Jordan. The Pallies have no interest in having a state, they have an interest in dead Jews, and as long as there is a live Jew in the Middle East they and much if not most of the Arab Muslim world will never be happy. Once the Jews in the Middle East are dead, then they can concentrate on the Jews and Christians and Hindus and Buddhists living outside the Middle East. Then they can turn on each other until there is only one sect left. It is truly a religion that loves death as much as others love life.
