Personally, I think UPS and FedEX should work 7 days a week to residential recipients.

They do not. At least not for Ground shipping. This isn't very important is it? But I can now see your talking about next day air. So I guess I wouldn't know cause I never used that.

And besides, should this go under the "shipping forum"? j/k ;)

Your local UPS depot is very relaxed if they deliver Ground shipments on Saturday. :) One of the things I do at work is handle our shipping/receiving. We never receive shipments on Saturday unless we pay the extra $12.50 per package (on top of the Next Day Air charge) and we definitely have to pay that charge if we want something delivered to a client on Saturday.

That's cool that you got it : ) Odd that you would have one in your hands before Newegg even lists it...

Schweet! Definitely give us some benchmark scores! :D

What kind of case do you have? I like the way the side fan looks.

ok, just ran a complete stock install on 3dmark. looks like I'm only the #2 :) Looks like a bug because it's showing that my core/mem is 115/115. Also, and this might have just been a glitch, but when I tried installing the 4.4's I had previously downloaded from ati.com, i kept on getting a "hardware not found" error message. ended up using the supplied disk for drivers. Not bad score, but definitely and untweaked one. Just wanted to give you guys my "out of the box" experience. More to come...

You should be hitting in the upper 9000, lower 10000 range with that card. You are about 1000 points off. Make sure you don't have AA or AF running.

Thats a horrible score. Perhaps the card really IS running at 115/115, otherwise I'm staying far far away from this card.

not sure where you came up with that number, but one of the reviews i found with a 3dmark score, which was running a faster processor and newer drivers, scored a 9600. 8800 might be a little low, but not that much compartively.

I heard rumors that ATi was going to bundle Counter Strike 2 and/or Half Life 2 vouchers with their cards. I guess this puts that rumor to rest. ;)

Gamer's Depot showed 9956 at 1024 x768 with 3DMark03 using a 3.4GHz Northwood, 875P, and driver 8.01. It will be interesting to see your 3DMark01 score.

I think the X800 series only uses beta drivers? which are the ones on the supplied disk I would guess. Also because it is a new GPU I would guess that many ID apps would not recognise it or it's core speed properly.
