So, I bought The Walking Dead compendium 1, and I thought the UPS tracking system was kidding when they said the package was over 5 pounds. Yeah, the system wasn't joking, because the book is huge. It's probably about 4 inches thick as well as a bit weighty for a book.

I'll probably just end up trying to find digital versions of them, which will be significantly easier for me to read. I almost would have preferred being able to buy them in a digital format, but I didn't see anything on Amazon for something like that. I'll need to find a good reader for my iPad first!

And if they dropped napalm on the streets of Atlanta why wasnt there any fire damage when Rick was roaming the city on his horse last season.

Everything was fine, cars, buildings, trees. No fire damage. No sign of military ordnance going off anywhere

no one ever said it was Atlanta

It was another major metropolitan city near Atlanta... like.... yea..

more likely they only fire-bombed a small part of the city that grimy didn't go to; I call it "operation crap-our-pants".

Ok, I'm just about to stop watching this show... it is just completely losing it's edge.

1. The Zombies are so far and few between, and so easy to kill.
2. The infection is so damn hard to spread it just isn't scary or convincing... you mean the ONLY way to get infected is through bites? So I can have the bastards bleed all over my face and get away scott free?... no way! garbage!
3. Why are we revisiting the false sanctuary story again... didn't we just do this last season? It's just not interesting a second time around.
4. When was the last time someone died? Otis... who gives a damn about Otis? They did the whole drama sequence about whether to just let Carl die to avoid the horrors of the new world... and yet I haven't seen anything particularly horrible about the world they live in in WEEKS... garbage
5. If that little girl doesn't show up as a Zombie and eats her momma... I think I'm done.

Dob, I was saying #2 when I say Cletus there with an arrow through him soaking in the water next to some dead guys.

They are so concerned about infection, but nobody wears goggles/surgical masks/bandannas or whatever to help prevent accidental ingestion......

1. They're in farmland where people are few and far between, so it makes sense that there isn't a ton of Zombies around.
2. No clue.. guessing that it has to get in your system via an open wound or something, they are a little more liberal then I'd be.
3. At this point the world's ended it's all about finding someplace safe to start rebuilding, what do you expect them to do, keep wandering around looking for a cure?
4. That one I don't have much of an answer for.. it's a TV show. In the books (I agreed not so related) they burned through the cast on a regular basis.
5. Don't hold your breath. Odds are she'll show back up fine, and renew everyone's faith they can survive this.

Everyone is already infected. Whenever someone dies, they will become a zombie whether they got bit or not.

They need to introduce fast zombies... fast zombies are pants shittingly scary even if there are 1 or 2... these slow zombies aren't doing it for me.

How did the zombie Apocalypse start? Is it a virus or Jesus hates frank grimes or are they all dead and in hell (like lost).

Don't make plans for next Sunday! Catch up with Season 2 on Sunday, November 27 with a six-episode marathon followed by The Walking Dead mid-season finale at 9/8c.

This was posted on FaceBook.

Could you imagine watching the first six season 2 episodes back-to-back? That would result in a 6 hour nap.

And WTF is a "mid-season finale"? Lovely oxymoron.

It has been a bit of a snooze-fest.

And yeah, I too am annoyed with these shows dividing a season into two "half seasons".
