Yeah, and?

I was just saying even the pre-builds are starting to show up...

Price aside, are the component strong for a 2-3 year gaming rig?

What changes would you make?

I definitely wanna stick with Nvidia gpu...

eh, not bad but can be built for cheaper

I just priced it out on new egg (save processor and mb), exact same build as above, except no water cooler:

Ram...$84
Power...$90
HD...$95
BR/DVD...$78
Case...$90
12-1...$20
W7 Builders...$99
GPU...$360
2600K...$370 (maybe high?)
MB...$150

Total...$1446

Ram is 40-50 bucks no real point in 1600mhz
Power 90
Hdd samsung f3 60
Br/dvd is 50 on the egg
Case for 60
I wouldn't get card reader
w7 on sale for 15% off if you look around... 85
Depends on your needs for gpu id get the galaxy 460 sli kit 350
2500k for gaming 180 at mc
MB 160
About 1100-1200 total, and cheaper for me with w7 (msdn)
If you want water, add an h50 but we have seen good sb oc's don't need water.
Im not saying that this prebuilt is bad only it can be cheaper for same basic setup.

$1499 include shipping, tax? And yes, the answer is always YES in can be built cheaper because you're cutting out the middle man. Waiting for deals on parts makes the savings greater (like 15% off at superbiiz). Plus you don't have to buy any crap that's useless to you, or is of low value (2600/2600K).

I would price it out (correctly), but seeing as mobo and CPU aren't out yet I won't bother.

2500 at 220 "k" version at 240
2600 at 300 and 350

That's a guess, if australia is anything to look at sb prices will be inflated. (reports of $400+)

You'll probably be able to build it for a few hundred bucks cheaper. There's no point in speculating on parts that don't have street pricing yet.

If you go to a lawyer, he'll recommend litigation. If you goto a surgeon, he'll recommend surgery. If you go to a DIY enthusiast forum, they'll recommend...DIY. :p

I at least recommended a prebuilt ;) would i buy it? no do i want anyone to buy it? not really, but it's up to them, if i were forced to go prebuilt then my earlier post is probably what i would get. (especially with the 5% off discount of "NORUSH" when you pick no rush preparation)
