Edit: Are there *any* restaurants in KC with live music and good food for < 21 years old?

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... Gates....

Those five little words "Hi may I help you?" are sweet music to my ears! I will be going there tomorrow, as a matter of fact. Turkey sandwich, here I come!!

Hope you have a good time in KC. It's a nice "little" big city. It has its bad parts like any metropolis, but on the whole it's cool. Westport is fun if you like the meat market scene... all the fun bars are in Lawrence (college town about an hour west). Go any further west than that and you'll be getting a lot of use out of that book. 95% of Kansas is snoozeville. The scenery isn't even very pretty (there seems to be a dearth of trees in this state).

Unhealthiest City in terms of food habits & weight -------> Kansas City.....expect to get great food....

food in a particular city is pretty over-rated unless u go to some restaurant with exotic dishes....the best steak in kansas city will taste no better than the best steak in your town assuming ur town is 100000+ people. as far as i know it is a pretty safe city.unless u are asking for trouble. went there once to watch the cheifs at arrowhead.

Eh, I live in Omaha, Nebraska. Good steak is a given around here. Me want ribs. :D

I went to www.pitch.com, as suggested by Wozster, and came up with the following restaurants that have live music:

Jardine's
Phoenix Bar and Grill

Comments on these restaurants? Still searching for someplace to go for live music and good food on Monday night that's not 21 and over...

Right now we're looking at going to the Majestic Steakhouse because it has live jazz every night and is open to people under 21. Comments?
