for the love of god! get a clue, the guy is talking like that "person to person" to come off as a nice guy, but i dont care if he's a dickhead or not, poitn is that he's bullshitting. have you ever negotiated with a sales person? it looks like you have not.Originally posted by: Eli
No, I completely understand that!Originally posted by: Bacardi151
dude, im not even talking about feedback, i could care less what they give eachother for feedback, im talking about the networth. here i'll give you an example. somebody is auctioning a house, you win the auction for 100K, you later on find out he can't sell the house for whatever reason, and the house is worth 300K in the market. are you not losing out on a deal here? if you still can't see the bigger picture here i suggest you take economics and learn some shit.
what it really boils down to is that the seller is not living up to a service, and he should at the very least offer a raincheck.
and dude, his fees for listing the phone and final value is NOTHING compared to how much he'd be out for selling the phone for less than 200 bucks
But that isn't the point? The seller is talking to you, person to person. Human to human?
He's telling you that he made a mistake, and that he is sorry that he will not be able to take your money. Oh, what a crime!
If it REALLY irks you that bad, how about a positive saying "Did not have have merchandise, compromise reached.. prompt communication."
I mean what the hell? I'd be PISSED if some dipsh!t like you left me a negative after I explained myself. And I'm an experienced eBay seller, so don't fscking call me ignorant you asshat.
Christ.
and are you frigging thick?? how many times do i have to tell you that what im talking about has NOTHING to do with feedback so stop using that as an argument when you talk to me.
on another note, a negative feedback is completely justified, it is to warn other users that this kind of situation is a probability, maybe not a high one cuz there's not many of em, but thats cuz you keep discouraging them to not leave negative feedback when it's justified to do so...instead you tell them to leave a positive?? where the hell is your logic??
Your logic is based on the ASSumption that the guy is both an asshole and a liar!
I guess I'm just too nice, because my assumptions are based on the fact that he's a normal human being like me and sh!t happens. No skin off my back, so whats the problem????????
Jesus fscking christ! I can't believe this.
Like I said, I would be INFURIATED if you left me a negative feedback after I had already explained myself.
well tell it to somebody else because i'm not even putting any effort into arguing for leaving a positive or negative feedback. although i believe that i did make a good point for leaving one over the other, but i could care less which one is left.
yeah you're too nice, but we're not talking about you now are we. my assumptions of him being a liar and an ahole is based off something, and yeah he's a normal human being alright, a normal human being would attempt to bullshit out of selling a phone for that value
That's true, that it is fishy.. It does seem that if he was truely trying to appease his customer, he would have said a little more, and his 2nd email would have been a little classier.
Shrug. I'm not willing to recieve a negative to "rat" him out I guess, because I honestly do not see the "scam" as such.
Can someone explain to me who is being scammed if someone lists something and then makes up a story as to why he can't sell it if it doesen't meet his "reserve"?
Why doesen't he just make a reserve auction? See..... It still just doesen't make any sense.. if it's true, he's both an asshole and a moron.. lol
