In reference to the above question: I think only ebay auctions paid with paypal. But hey, try it on a normal paypal payment and see what happens, let us know if it works. It shows you the total with coupon if it works before you hit the final send money link, so you should be able to find out without actually sending money. Also note these are 1 use for each coupon per paypal account so if you used them for ebay auction already, it wont work.

There is no $8. Have you used the coupons at all before? Its 1 use per coupon per paypal account.

I dont belive these have a limited number of redemptions, especially since I used the $5 just last night.

Well I am a little ticked off because it didnt work.
I stick the coupon code in the coupon area hit redeem and 3 times it would give me an error saying I had to hit the back button twice to verify the ammount and when I do that it tells me the page has expired.
WTF. Is paypal messing with people and not having it work a few times till you get pissed off enough not to even bother with it. If so it worked for me. I said the hell with it and paid without saving my $5 because I was doing it right just kept getting the page has expired every time I hit the back button twice like it said to.

You are right about the $8 coupon. And it doesn't state a minimum. Cool. I'll have to find me a $10 christmas present and get it mostly free

Anyway, please note in th original post that these do not apply to the total balance but rather the auction closing bid ONLY. For instance, if you are $2 shy of $50 and you simply add $2 extra, you do not qualify for the $5 off $50. Even the shipping costs do not apply so $41 + $9 s&h does not qualify for $5 off $50.
