He escalated to a dispute. Expected 100 dollars in return and I think he wanted to keep the laptop too. Well i obviously said no and will fight this to the ground, even to destroy his perfect 100% feedback
my reply
The laptop was working fine for the past 4 years I had owned it. It was working fine when I sent the item; and when they received the laptop they said it was non-working. They are a computer repair center, they could have damaged the computer from installing the new hard drive or they could have used my laptop as parts, I dont know, but what I do know is that laptop was working when I sent it; the pictures on ebay are the pictures of the laptop working the day I put it on ebay. I posted this issue on a forum and the forum community also believes they may have swapped out some parts. This computer was working when I sent it out, I described everything in my ebay ad down to little specifics and made it clear that I do not accept returns. I even shipped the Item ups so the buyer could receive the item much faster than what I originally had posted in the add (parcel post). I suggested to the seller that he should file a dispute with UPS because UPS insures items up to 100 dollars if the seller believes this is UPS' fault. I hope this gets resolved for both the seller and I.
