Then you should have been more conscientious as a buyer. It's your fault. Good luck on your next auction.

Just because you bought it as a gift you're expecting special treatment? Get real.

read the whole thread. i'm referring to people asking what i find wrong with the manual or if i'm buying it as a collectible.
You're kidding right? In case you didn't read any of the responses (even the ones you responded to), I've been participating in this thread. But then, obviously you haven't been reading much if you didn't realize that.

At this point in the game why are you deciding to be such a low-life troll? The auction stated what it was. You obviously didn't ask questions. You got a game that plays just fine but with a manual and inserts that sucked. That's YOUR fault. It seems that now you're yet another kid that wants something for nothing.

But instead of leaving well enough alone, now you want to call me out. Give me a break. Grow up. Is all of this really worth it for the $20 or so you spent for this just so that you could save some money on a friend?

whoa relax buddy. i'm not calling you out or anything.

people ask what i find wrong with the manual or inserts. i've already stated that i bought it as a gift for someone else who likes his games complete. look earlier in the thread. people are still asking what i find wrong so i say read the thread earlier where i stated it.

no where did i say i bought as a gift so i want special treatment. i said i bought it as a gift and that's why i wanted the manual and inserts complete.

geez relax.

Just out of curiosity, SmoochyTX....do you sell stuff on eBay?

So why are you keeping this thread going? Most everybody has told you to chalk it up as a life experience and that it's basically you're fault for not researching further.

I guess you're waiting for enough ignorant people to chime in here and take your side. I guess that will make you feel magnanimous.

In that case, I beseech you to file a neg with the buyer as soon as possible. LOL

ETA - How many times did you ask the seller what kind of condition the manual and case inserts were before you decided to bid on the auction?

yes i know i already stated that, it's my loss, and no feedback is being left. if people are asking questions or want more details about it i figure why not answer them instead of leaving them hanging.

geez just stop responding to this thread if you don't want it to continue. there's plenty of other topics u can post in.

Of course there are plenty of other topics I could post in, but why should I post there? Watching you get owned more and more is fun. The only losers agreeing with you are just that, losers. Yes it's fun watching them partake, but it's more fun watching you continue to defend yourself rather than chalk it up as a mistake and let it go and continue to come after me when I was trying to help you in the beginning. ;)

thx for the advice earlier in the thread. sorry u feel that way about me.

You are a troll. If it was truly a gift you would have made that known in your OP. But you waited hours and hours to release that info - not like it really matters anyway.

And you have been owned. BTW. By myself and everyone else in this thread that thought you neglectful enough to ask the proper questions. You owned yourself.

Good luck in your next auction.

Has he already given you feedback? If so, wait until the day before the limit (don't remember how many days it is) and give him a neutral.

If he hasn't given you feedback yet, just wait.

Screw neutral, I'd give him a negative for being intentionally deceptive with his description.
While the seller could have and should have provided information in his auction about what state the manual and case were in, the OP also had the opportunity and responsibility to ask the seller what condition they were in before he bid on them and bought them.

If the seller is putting up an auction for a 'barely played' PS1 game and the game works just fine then the seller does not deserve a negative. It is the ultimate responsibility of the bidder to ask about the state of the manual and case if it wasn't included in the auction description if it was that important to him. If the bidder didn't like the information provided to him, he could have continued his search.

The OP/bidder/buyer has learned an important lesson for the future. ;)

Never assume.

No, it is the responsibility of the seller to provide information about the condition of the product. The buyer SHOULD be able to assume that the item is in good condition unless otherwise stated. The buyer should not have to play guessing games to get the full story out of the seller.

Edit: After reading the rest of your posts in this thread, I really hope I don't buy anything from you on eBay, and I'll be sure not to buy anything from you in FS/FT.

You can easily call your credit card company and get your money back. Not that hard, as I've done it before with stuff.

As one of the people you've decided to insult repeatedly, just like to make sure you know as far as I'm concerned you are still wrong.

It is the responsibility of a seller to disclose any known defects in whatever is being sold. That is the law in the USA, and the policy of Ebay.

So advertising a damaged manual and case, without disclosing they are damaged, is dishonest. The seller's deliberately misleading description "barely played", and failure to provide a photo, doesn't change his obligation on this point.

The lesson the OP can learn from this is not that he should have to ask more questions, but that there are assholes on Ebay, and on ATOT.

Leaving the info out deserves a neutral, blaming it on the buyer afterwards borders on a negative.

I didn't know that. Should've given him a negative, then.
