Eating at work for lunch.

Ok so I just moved and live a litte further away from my office. I'll probably have to eat here for lunch or go out to eat so what do you guys eat for lunch when you stay in the office?

Mainly I'm just looking for some good ideas for things to bring to the office and what not.

we always go out somewhere for lunch

i suppose if i had to bring my lunch i'd get some of those frozen meals or something, or make a sammich in the morning...

is it really such a complicated thing?

Leftovers or something I made at home. They have a cafeteria here at work so sometimes I'll just buy something from there. They serve breakfast and lunch, have a full salad bar and a decent selection to choose from along with daily specials.

Prices are very reasonable and it is convenient.

Leftovers from the night before. I always make a little more.
Unless it's pizza. We have no toaster here at work and I respect pizza too much to reheat it in a microwave.
In a pinch I'll eat the food at the food court. But it's barely passable as 'food'. More like soylent green.

Today's sack lunch included:
Granola Bar
Apple
Baby Carrots
Sliced Cucumber
Sammich (turkey, roast beast, salami, jalapeno havarti, dijon on whole grain)
Choco Chip Cookie

I usually just pack leftovers from last night's dinner. Normally, I'll eat in my cube while reading the news. I usually don't take more than a 10 min lunch unless we go out to eat.

Leftovers?

I usually make a big meal on Sunday that I can use for leftovers (i.e. lasagna or chili or something like that).

If not leftovers then I will buy lunch meat and bread and make sandwhiches at work.

If not any of that, then I will go and get Subway or something downtown.

Campbell's Chunky soups when it is cold out. Like Chicken Noodle, New England Clam or Manhattan Clam Chowder. They come in a 15 oz microwavable container, takes about 2:20 in a good unit to warm up. Target usually has them for about $1.50 per container. Tastes good too.

I eat cafeteria food. It's sometimes decent, most often not. There is not enough time to leave for food, and nowhere near to eat anyways.

I eat a power bar, that is the only thing I eat until dinner every day. I've done this for the past 8 years. I've never brought in my own lunch, but sometimes go out to eat.

what are those like 250 calories? That would satisfy me for about an hour.
