There are protein bars that have no sugar in them, like quest bars.

Why don't you just eat real food instead?
Strangely enough, there is a significant number of people who don't like eating. They don't like to cook. They don't like to try new things. They don't like the time it takes. They don't like the social aspects. If there was a pill that supplied all their nutritional needs and kept them from being hungry, they'd never eat again. On second thought, I'm not sure they're people.

I would have thought, this Nano-technological Food, would really suit them ?
Full of NanoGreens, NanoMega, NanoPro and even (it is rumored) some Quantum stuff as well.

It isn't that hard to cook. Hell he could just throw a couple of potatoes in a bag, put it in the microwave, then add butter, salt, blackpepper, and garlic powder. Enjoy!

How hard is that?

List of Chemical names ...

'Cholicalciferol' sounds like a powerful weedkiller.

'cyanocobalamin' sounds like embalming fluid.

'Docosahexaenoic Acid' sounds like something a Doctor prescribes.

'Carotenoids' sounds like a skin illness.

'Zeaxanthin' sounds like an over the counter medicine

'isomalto-oligosaccharides' sounds like an "Alien" chemical.

But, he'd have to think about it. Anti food folk want eating to be as autonomous as possible.

I bet you that those folks spend a lot more money on eating "fake" foods then we do on real food.
In their view, it's a small price to pay. As a Chef, it's fundamentally disturbing. We're not talking about a handful of whackos, we're talking about hundreds of thousands in America.

I'll admit that I don't like cleaning up afterwards, especially with washing dishes. And there are times when I don't feel like cooking. But I am done with eating out all of the time. Since I'm also diabetic I do need to watch what I eat on top of that.

There are lots of foods that will cook together in a single pot and will turn out great. It isn't that hard to do basic cooking with real food as those folks think it is.

It isn't about difficulty for these folks, it's total lack of interest.

I wonder if they would change their minds all of the sudden if they end up on a fixed income and/or had to start watching what they are eating due to health concerns.

I certainly had to due to both of them happening to me.

Reality isn't high on their list of priorities. It's all about changing their environment to fit their expectations.

Haha I'm gonna send that nanomeal crap to my co-worker. He subsides solely on protein bars and an assortment of pills - vitamins, multivitamins, supplements - in an attempt to lose a significant amount of weight with zero exercise.

How does it work when they invite a date over?
Cooking for a date is a great way to spend an evening. Theres something going on all the time so theres no awkward silences. In my experience cooking a nice meal for someone always goes down well.

He is wasting his money for nothing and making his health worse in the process. The only surefire way to lose weight is to consume less calories and exercise. And eat real food.

They don't date outside of their species. Why would they waste time doing something for someone else that neither have any interest in?

I think they just don't... lots of guys (and women) simply do not cook. They just go out to eat, or if it's a necessity to eat in they would probably just order takeout.

This makes me sad.

Cooking for friends is awesome.
