Im still a new user with the CL Annihilator2 GTS card w/ Det. 6.18 driver. Does anyone know if GF2 GTS 32MB support 4x4 Anti-aliasing on Need for Speed: High stakes and Tomb Raider 4? Because when I enabled it I couldn't tell the difference in the level of jagginess on the graphics. Let me know, thnks..

The kind of anti-aliasing implemented on nVidia cards is done in a different way to what you might define '4x4'. It scales the resolution of the image to whatever setting you put it on and then downsamples the image to your selected resolution. the end result? a much smoother image - sometimes. Depending on what resolution you're using, anti-alising on nVidia cards will have a limited effect, if any at all. For example, running at 1600x1280 (or whatever it is, i only hava a 15&quot😉 anti-aliasing won't work at all in any situation. Try to drop down the level of antialiasing you're using if you're running at higher resolutions within the game, or drop the resolution down a notch...

If someone like Ben or RoboTECH or anyone else who is experienced with AA could fill in the specifics of my statement andcorrect me where i'm wrong, it would be greatly appreciated 🙂
