So what you're all saying is that the primary target of this product (small children to teenagers) should be able to determine that they need to reduce the power of their modern microwaves after all of the water boils out of their bowl? There should at least be a disclaimer saying that users with a microwave made after 1984 may not need to use high power and/or cook for the full amount of time.
Something advertised as easy and fast should not have all of these clauses and disclaimers and conditions, or it wouldn't really be easy, would it?
I have never once encountered any cooking guide that did not state somewhere "cooking times are approximate and may vary according to device characteristics" or something to that effect.Originally posted by: BillGates

I agree, but variances and adjustments that need to be made on the fly as far as water volume, cooking length, microwave power, bowl size, and so on take away the actual EASY concept.
I don't actually have a problem making this product but have a problem with their easy statement. Marketing, schmarketing.

If you were patient and/or confident enough in the instructions to LET The water bubble like it does, you'd realize that boiling all the water away actually cooks the macaroni. Trust Kraft - they know what they're doing when it comes to instant food prep.

You did know that Microwaves vary widely in their power, right? Some can boil a cup of water in 10 seconds, others take 2 minutes. Use a lower setting.
That was evident within the first week of you joining this ForumRanting about Easy Mac..... wow, I'm retarded.

Regular sized bowl. Exactly the amount of water it says. 3.5 minutes on High in my little 600 Watt microwave. Perfect EasyMac. It's just that simple.
