easy halloween costume ideas?

So I wasn't going to go out, now I've been roped into going this year. I don't want to stick a card on me and write "to: women, from: God" again, and the only other thing I have is an olde Roman gladiator costume that I really don't feel like wearing. Any other ideas for something REALLY easy I can go as?
 
I've never been invited to a Halloween party, but had I been, I would have worn my stretchy pumpkin costume from kindergarten. Once full-body, it would now function as a bustle to my invisible Cinderella dress, but I don't think it has lost any of its scaring potential.

I went as a Greaser once. Kinda like Pony Boy from the book The Outsiders.

I have 2 sets of 30 led, battery operated christmas lights. I'll just wear a green coat tonight, wrap the lights around my upper and lower body and be a christmas tree whilst taking the kid trick or treating.
Should be fun with a temperature of 38°F and 40+mph winds...
