So I am going to be looking for work after I graduate college next year and I need every edge I can get. Someone recently said that interviewers like to hear that their potential employees have girlfriends, especially when you're talking about engineering (because most engineering guys don't have girlfriends). Its a way to differentiate myself.

Now I am set on obtaining a girlfriend but I need tips on how to proceed. I want one that doesn't require much attention, doesn't require lots of money to maintain, and is reasonably attractive. Knowing what you want is half the battle or so I've heard. Now, the other half is actually acquiring one. I am clueless on how to begin. Atot, help me.

About interview
If someone mentioned about his/her gf/bf in an interview without being asked about it, I will never hire that person, I wouldn't mind if he mentions his kids or wife. I guess it depends on the interviewer's age group..

About girl
Look for single foreign student, they are the easiest bunch, lonely and vulnerable. Looks for ones that do not come from rich family.

It is your second amendment right to obtain a g/f by force, in order to breed a well regulated militia, and to preserve bear arms, without which they couldn't reach and eat berries.

In your case, I'd also add that it's probably your only way.

Well, I've been on internship interviews and they always ask what I do for fun outside of school. I always tell them stuff but I feel disadvantaged because I can't tell them that I hang out with my girlfriend because I don't have a girlfriend.

Tell said girl you're in a union. Women love men who are secure with good benefits.

Get a net and a net launcher.... girlfriend acquired.

Or just buy a blow up doll and tell the interviewer how you guys hang out all the time.

Get a job - that's how you get a girlfriend.

I have a job, I work at a local computer shop making a few bucks above minimum wage. Now, I'm looking for a real job though but since the economy sucks, I need to differentiate myself. When I look at my engineering class, 90% of them don't have girlfriends. Me having a girlfriend will give me that extra edge to land the job.

No it wont.

Employers don't give a shit if you have a girlfriend or not. What would make you think that?

This is the wrong reason to get a girlfriend. It will be of no benefit to you.

I think your best bet is to rent one by the hour, you should only need her services on an occasional basis for social events.
If you think you will require more then the occasional use of a girlfriend then you should contact one of your local services and ask them about longer term lease arrangements.

Make sure you tell them that you are looking for the girlfriend experience, and you might need her to perform in public, or at least with one other person so you get no surprise charges.
