Dump the beers in a bucket, fill it with water, ice, and salt. Mix it around for a few minutes.

1. Write a note reminding yourself for when time machines are invented to travel to yesterday and put beer in fridge.
2. Now go and open your fridge
3. Mind = blown?

Wait a second. What kind of beer? We could all be wasting our time here.

just your average lager

i will frequently have bud light or sam adams in storage and whenever i just want to have one or two they are never in the fridge

Depends on how much water/ice you have and how much beer there is to cool down, but I'd say under 5 minutes. I've cooled down a six pack in about 2 minutes.

Drink it as is. If it doesn't taste good that way, you've bought the wrong beer ;^)

Swap the polarity of your microwave power cable. Now it should make things cold fast instead of hot.

Stand back, I'm an engineer

It's the temperature that cools the beer, though; not the state of matter. I do not understand. :(

Exactly. The salt allows the solution to remain liquid while below the freezing point of water, but doesn't inherently make the water any colder.

I've never really had this problem when freezing beers. Just throw it in the freezer for 10 minutes.

Just make sure there's always a few cold ones ready in the fridge. I do that with pepsi, I make sure there is always at least two in there.

Once when I was bored, me and my bro-in-law used a bunch of leftover mostly empty canned air sprays upside down on a 6-pack. It was outside in August, and we got the things really frosty despite the heat.
