Sounds like a lot of people felt swaying. I sure didn't, just hope my computer's ok at home. Got my priorities straight...

I immediately hit up CNN and the local news web sites and found nothing. Came on to Anandtech forums on a hunch and, sure enough, verified the existence of the quake I felt. Leave it to ATOT to beat out the traditional news media. 🙂

Felt a bit of rolling here in NJ. Only half the office felt it, we had to convince the rest. Weird thing is we had a fire drill 15 mins later.

Haha, that was my same thought too. I then used twitter for the first time in my life to confirm if other people in the area had felt it.

I figured I'd take a moment to come to ATOT to report that I, too, felt it. Western NY about 20 miles north of the PA border. My arm went numb this morning for no apparent reason. My immediate thoughts were "I'm having a stroke, I shouldn't have ignored the numbness."

I missed it. I was driving down the 417 at the time. When I got to Arnprior everyone there was talking about it.

Didn't feel a dammed thing from that one...of course, it was ONLY a 5.0...barely more than a truck going by...(according to most of ATOT when Kahleeforneeya has a 5.0)

Fucking things do get your attention though...especially when you live in a location that rarely gets them.

some of my fb friends posted stuff about it, so I guess some of cleveland did feel it. maybe I'll ask my mom later (she works in one of the bigger towers downtown).

I checked on Twitter to confirm before posting as they have been doing road work on the boulevard but this felt way too strong. The shaking and noise was like an unbalanced washing mashine.
