I love the Earth.
She makes absolute power, wrath, and destruction look so beautiful, peaceful, and serene.
All at the same time.
And she totally accidentally (on purpose?) it all.

Just wrapping this up after getting a wicked storm roll through, getting a power surge and knocked everything offline, and hearing the Tornado Sirens go off unexpectedly (yet not quite so). Turns out it was worthy of a Tornado Warning and there was a report of a funnel Northeast of campus. True or not, who knows. Touchdown? No idea.
As the storm rolled in, the wind was insane, and the looming darkness over the sun-stricken sky was quite amazing.
Darkness... darkness... lots of lightning... more darkness...
Storm marches East impressively fast, leaves an absolutely serene sunset sky in its wake.
I wish I had my SLR. Though campus has too many damn buildings that just ruin the perfect photo opportunity.
