meanwhile you completely ignore the fachist democrats. this whole forum is just a fap party for the democrats. this forum is so left that its disgusting.
This is still mostly a tech forum, most of us are here because we are logical thinkers that enjoy reading deep dives into things like memory cache architecture.
This forum only appears far left to you because The Republican Party has moved so far right that the Vin Diagram of conservative politics and reality no longer overlap.

Well to be fair between the republicans and democrats only one of those parties just attempted a coup in response to losing an election.

That seems pretty fascistic to me, what do you think?

Far left liberal ideas and hate are what P&N is all about. If it wasn't for the few that actually think there wouldn't be any reason to visit at all.
Ask yourself a couple of simple questions. How many regular posters here can discus a topic without anger and personal insults? How many of those believe that their hate is completely justified and proper?
Even your response above follows the same logic "it's the republican's fault".

While I agree a lot of people are overly vitriolic here I don't think it's a fringe idea to consider the Republican Party to be fascist or at least proto-fascist in its current incarnation.

Whatever you think about the virtues of conservative policies or the flaws of liberal policies, the current head of the Republican Party attempted a coup just over a year ago and about half of those who identify as Republicans think it was justified, including the attack on the capitol.

The anger and hate is derived from posters like you, who spout opinion as fact or who are intentionally ignorant of facts on any given topic and have no desire for the truth.

Ask yourself this; which right leaning posters here regularly argue/debate with facts and not outright propaganda?

What you ignore (purposefully or not) is that when left leaning posters on here also post nonsense and alternative facts, they too are called out on it. So it’s not about “liberal ideas” (can you even articulate what that is exactly?), it’s about examining the truth and working from a shared reality. It only looks like hate because those who aren’t willing to challenge their views, don’t want their views challenged and to them any inspection of their opinions are a direct threat (which explains why the gop pushes so many pro snowflake laws, they being the snowflake).

If you think this place is far left, your head would explode if you went somewhere that was actually far left. FYI, fascism isn't "government doing things I don't like".

Fascism is generally defined as a political movement that embraces far-right nationalism and the forceful suppression of any opposition, all overseen by an authoritarian government. Fascists strongly oppose Marxism, liberalism and democracy, and believe the state takes precedence over individual interests.
a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.

Fascism is a movement that promotes the idea of a forcibly monolithic, regimented nation under the control of an autocratic ruler.
...
“Mussolini thought that democracy was a failed system. He thought that liberty of expression and liberty of parties was a sham, and that fascism would organize people under state power,” Ben-Ghiat says. “Their idea was you would be freer because you wouldn’t have any class consciousness. You’re just supposed to worship the nation. It’s nation over class.”

The corollary of that belief was the idea that anything that might impede national unity had to be gotten rid of, and violently. In fact, violence was seen as beneficial to society.

What does fascism mean?

Many experts agree that fascism is a mass political movement that emphasizes extreme nationalism, militarism, and the supremacy of both the nation and the single, powerful leader over the individual citizen. This model of government stands in contrast to liberal democracies, which support individual rights, competitive elections, and political dissent.

In many ways, fascist regimes are revolutionary because they advocate the overthrow of existing systems of government and the persecution of political enemies. However, when it advances their interests, such regimes can also be highly conservative in their championing of traditional values related to the role of women, social hierarchy, and obedience to authority. And although fascist leaders typically claim to support the everyman, in reality their regimes often align with powerful business interests.

I get vitriolic because hearing people support and consistently repeat terrible positions and revel in ignorance, while defending a party that is clearly leaning to fascism, well, that gets my blood boiling.

People supporting evil pisses me off.

Greenman is a fascist that revels in ignorance. There is only so much I can take.

But just because I get angry has no reflection on the correctness of my arguments.

I just struggle trying to figure out which category some people/posters fall into.

1) Too stupid to understand how wrong they are
2) Understand exactly what they are doing and playing dumb
3) Actually want this type of behavior (it's nuanced from the first two)
4) Troll/intentional divisive postings with no purpose other than to rile up people

I tend to look at forum join time, posting history and overall posting style to try and categorize. If you only post in CPU/Video card/hardware forums and then lob a grenade in P&N you are almost certainly #4 and if you do that and come in spewing propaganda almost word for word of Russian talking points I'm going to call you out on it.

The other three are more complicated and I'll give some people benefit of the doubt for being in #1. Unless they keep doing it over and over again which lands them in #2 or #3. And then it's basically your earned penance for being that way.

I'd say suppressing free speech counts. Stealing elections count. Using the system to attack political opposition counts. I figured I'd check in and see if anyone had come to their senses since the country is in death spiral at this point. Nope. Same talking points from 3 years ago. Trump bad.

Actually it's the majority of the Republican party is fascist, suppresses history, legislates morality based on religion, and is filled with insane people like you that are, at this point, evil and future good Nazis when the R's take over and overthrow democracy. The stuff you people say is as nuts as the Nazis believed

You are pure evil.

Sorry we don't like killing babies like you do. To us evil republicans we'd like to not see babies murdered before they have a chance to live. Why do you hate black babies? You think it's a coincidence abortion clinics are usually placed in low income black areas? How racist of you.

Ruby Freeman scanning ballots multiple times. The boxes of ballots pulled out from the desk after shutting down due to a water main break that never actually happened.
Google YouTube Facebook all censoring republican voices. And the white house publicly asking them to do so.
The targeting of project veritas reporters that committed no crimes.

So you respond to a request for examples with a pack of lies, lies which you know to be lies? How sad to be you.

Why would you believe things that are so easily falsified? Are you really this gullible?

Google YouTube Facebook all censoring republican voices. And the white house publicly asking them to do so.

Google and Facebook are private companies. If Google and Facebook were somehow prevented from banning Republican voices if they chose to do so would actually be censoring THEIR free speech.

Funny how your example of censorship is actually companies exercising their own free speech. Does that make you reconsider your position?

The targeting of project veritas reporters that committed no crimes.
If this refers to the raid on James O'Keefe first, he's already a convicted criminal. Second, that raid was subsequent to a warrant issued by a federal judge. That's how the Constitution is supposed to work.

So in short your accusations of fascist behavior by Democrats are the product of a concerted campaign of lies by conservatives - concerted campaigns of lies like these are hallmarks of fascist regimes, ironically.

Also remember when @OILFIELDTRASH was pretending to be a swing voter? Funny how this 'swing voter' just so happens to believe a giant pile of debunked ultra right wing conspiracy theories.

Trump lost man, and he lost bad. Time to accept reality.

The irony is, there is a left-wing component to fascism. It has left and right wing elements. Probably why Mussolini started off as a leftist before becoming a fascist, and the reason why the Nazis had "socialist" in their self-chosen name (though Hitler himself had no truck with the quasi-socialist bit of the party), and the reason why post-Soviet Russia produced such a thing as a "red-brown alliance".

Stalin, by putting the Russian nationalism into communism, seemed to create something hard to distinguish from fascism (Putin is probably the ultimate product of that).

But that pseudo-left element is also notably present in Trumpery and much of the contemporary US right. It's that it has that mixture of left and right parts that makes modern US conservatism most resemble fascism.

Lies that have repeatedly been debunked. Lol. Sorry no amount of propaganda from the leftist media will dissuade me from believing my own eyes. I saw a facility that was supposedly under water that wasn't. Told everyone to leave and pulled out boxes from underneath a table to start counting.

The phone call is stupid and imo just Donald Trump being a dumb ass. Trump is very possibly corrupt as Joe Biden or the Democrats.

What's it going to take for you idiots to admit something is wrong? Bread lines? I mean seriously you people are mind f_ed. Is there no corporation that you guys won't shill for.

Also private company crap goes out the window when they are censoring at the behest of the government.
