An operating system which include optimizations for the HT
Currently, the only OS including of optimizations for Hyperthreading is Windows XP. That it is in Home version or Pro, this operating system is able to benefit the best from the SMT. Etrangement, <<all the versions of Windows 2000 belong to the group " not recommended " (just like Windows Millenium or 98) and INTEL even suggests decontaminating Hyperthreading on these systems.>>
