Looking for suggestions. I get up around 5am and get started with my routine around 5:40 (weights 3x/week and burpees 3x/week). The only thing I put in my body pre-workout is usually a half glass of cranberry juice or one of those nasty Gatorade pre-energy syrupy packs.
I get through my workouts, but I'm hardly alert or energetic. Anything safe out there that would provide a little extra energy? I'm also incredibly picky with flavors etc. I do a protein mix post-workout, but only the unflavored stuff. Choco raspberry beaver supreme just doesn't cut it for me.
