Black Friday 2009 Pre-Sales Today: JCPenney, Sears, Target, and Wal-Mart
The idea of getting yourself a bargain just before Christmas is a wonderful thought, but if you had to queue up for hours to get it, then you would go off that idea quickly. This is the dilemma that we face each year and now face the same with Black Friday 2009.
There is a solution to this though and a number of stores have been showing us the way. Stores such as JCPenney, Sears, Target, and Wal-Mart have all started Black Friday 2009 Pre-Sales today, Saturday November 7, 2009. These stores hope that these early sales will be able to inject some much needed profits in ailing sales.
We had assumed that the holiday shopping season would start on November 27, 2009, which is Black Friday, but we only had to look at last year to see that something like this was done before. Best Buy and Wal-Mart called it their Black Friday loss-leaders.
There are so many other deals to be had before Black Friday, PC World informs us that Kmart begun its Better than Black Friday yesterday, Friday November 6, 2009. They will continue this sale each Friday until November 20.
