Eagles - Bucs Trash Talk Thread

As you can see through out this thread all my posts said that the Bucs would beat the piss out of the eagles and they did 😀 Both the Bucs offence and defence owned the eagles. Needless to say im damn happy to see my fav team going to the big show.

I find it very hard to be gracious with regards to MWilding, he talked a LOT of trash (silenced now), in many different threads, most started by him. You, and other Philly fans, I sympathize with, we've had more than our fair share of disappointments here in Tampa, but all of his trash-talking has come back on him.

I will let it go know, he's miserable, and it will take awhile for the ATOT community to forget it.

The Raiders. I am a big believer in let downs after big wins. Tampa may have blown their wad yesterday and Oakland's offense is just too effective.

Obviously the Eagles were way over rated (along with their QB). The Titans, Squeelers or Jets would have beaten them if the Eagles were in the AFC Playoffs. However the Bucs probably would have beaten the Squeelers and Titans. I'm not to sure about the Jets though.

The reason I think the Raiders will win is because the Bucs offense is rather anemic. Sure their Defense will give the Raiders some fits but the Raiders Defense will tear up the Bucs. I really like that the Bucs are still getting no respect. They weren't expected to beat the Niners or the Eagles. The latter was understandable, but not the former. As good as the Raiders D is, the Eagles D was better. There were plenty of times when the Eagles D overwhelmed the Bucs O, but Gruden's game plan minimized the disruption with short drops and quick passes. As anemic as the Bucs O seems (no deep threat, mediocre running game, mediocre O-line), Gruden's minimizing their flaws and they're coming together at just the right time. The Bucs just need to take this game as personally as they did the one against the Eagles.

The Raiders are clearly an excellent team (and even better when they don't take stupid penalties). This will be a great matchup (#1 O vs. #1 D) (MVP vs. Defensive MVP) and it'll be beautiful in HDTV on ABC (yes, I'm going to keep harping that 🙂 ).
