Still so much hate for EA at a time when the quality of their games has gone up. Quantifiably even by things like Metacritic.

I haven't played a ton of EA games lately but liked most of what I did play.

The delay is artificial in order to finish the console versions and launch them a few weeks (or months) before the PC version in an attempt to combat piracy.
Looks like you were more right than wrong....

Ricitiello further stated that the RPG will arrive in the company's third quarter, which runs from October 1 to December 31.

This was supposed to be out in April/May too, so that's quite a delay. Makes sense though from a business perspective, launch it with the consoles to maximize revenue and also in the holiday quarter when sales are typically strongest.
