Hey guys,
I'm trying to overclock my new computer and have managed up to 370MHz at 1:1 which is stable. I want to push it further but when I increase the VCore in the BIOS the change isn't being reported on CPUZ - it still shows as 1.225v. I've tried increasing it all the way to 1.5v but I'm worried about going any further.
Here's the specs...
C2D E8400
Abit IP35
Corsair TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX DDR2 4GB (4-4-4-12 @ 2.1v)
I've heard reports that the IP35 series has a big Vdrop but for it to not register any change AT ALL is a bit weird isn't it? Is there a setting somewhere that I've missed?
