E8400/E3110 what's your VID?

Sure =) What's yours Aigomorla?

BTW I found the sweet spot on my chip/mobo setup had to swap out my patriot 4gb kits for a 2gb crucial ballistix kit so I could get better CPU:RAM ratio. I couldn't OC the Patriot kit at all just absolutely refused to even with super lax timings. Ended up with 8x500 and the ram at 900mhz 4-4-4-12(wouldn't do 1000mhz absolutely refused on this board, but it does it on my brothers 680i board *shrug*) 1.437vcore tho =(! I'm going to do vdroop mod and I should be able to drop the vcore significantly.

1.025 on my QX. :T

Make sure if you do vdroop mod, you dont push it too hard. The pencil mod has a very bad habit of spike and brown in and out of load.

Noted. I'm kind of wondering now is my vid high?!? lol 😛 I looked at it when I first booted up at 3ghz and was like "woah that's low" because my e6600 was 1.28 and the other 1.35 so I figured this was crazy low, guess mine is higher than the rest! Could explain my problems with it not liking volts. Runs great 3.6ghz with 1.3vcore in bios(which is 1.24 idle in CPU-Z) stable as a mofo, once I get past the 3.6ghz mark it starts requiring a LOT of voltage.

1.1125 here.
Highest I benched was 4.37ghz @ 1.45 vcore, but because of voltage and being on air, I haven't tried to get prime stable at that speed.

My batch number is Q740A525T. Is that a good batch? Week 40.

440 fsb, for 3960mhz but required the same amount of vcore

????? it changes? the vid?

oh you probably have speedstep on. 😛

With some different bios's, the vid changes, so I would take that with a grain of salt. I always have all the extras disable except for multi cores and execute disable, no difference.

1.0375 on my E8400 I just threw in. I may switch it out at frys since the chip needs 1.4 ish at load to get prime stable at 4.0

Yes Speedstep is on on my rig and yes it changes. For some reason I am running lower vcore than before. I was at 1.365v and am now down to 1.305v bios with 1.26 or less in windows at 456fsb. I did flash the 16 bios update on my ABIT IP35 for what its worth.

my E8400 is 1.12 on idle (at 2ghz) and 1.168 on load (at full 3ghz)
EDIT: With gigabyte power saver software on max (previous results it was off) I get 1.056 on idle (2ghz) and 1.104 on load (3ghz with winrar compressing)

I'll add my results here shortly. Well, this weekend hopefully. I'm still waiting on some stuff before swapping chips (heatsink for my dads, and clips for mine - UPS should be fired...LOL). But here's a shot of them:

Different batches/dates so should be fun. One was 1/16/08 the other 2/6/08. I'm liking the vids on these from what I'm seeing here and everywhere else. Can we get more people to post batch/pack dates so we can make a guess at which is better?
