E8400 Dual Core Processor for $140?

i finally got the "we were backorderd and sent you the wrong item" excuse after emailing them twice myself. this is awesome.

i didnt think i'd really care, but it actually does make me mad.

I didn't see any deal for this CPU with an ECS motherboard for $199 at Fry's. I did see a Q6600 with an ECS motherboard for $179 and this CPU with a much nicer motherboard at $399 though.

Pretty Freaking unbelievable thing just happened, CompUSA called me and offered me the processor for $139 with free shipping (my first order was intercepted). I?m stunned. He started off by saying they had a problem with shipping the wrong part, at which point I jumped in and corrected him? At any rate, looks like CompUSA is coming through?for me anyway. Can't believe it...but happy!🙂

they offered me the cpu for their cost, which apparently was $183.


so i suppose they were going to lose a massive amount on this.

this literally happened like less than hour an ago. just give it time, they will probably call you in a bit
