no matter how much marketing they do....its still hockey

Yeah, I mean you'd think they wouldn't need marketing to get people to watch a fast-paced, exciting sports with physical play and fighting.

Yep, your correct. That is why hockey is so insanely popular. Its boring as shit

Not to mention, knowing the rules is not strategy in my book.

No, strategy is how they win games, and you can't win games if you ignore the rules. The rules have a huge impact on strategy in any sport, not just hockey.

I really don't care if you don't like hockey, and I have no interest in convincing you to like it. My original point was that you don't understand the game, and that could contribute to your finding it to be boring. You've proven that you have no understanding of the game, and whether that impacts your enjoyment of the game is something that we're not going to be able to reach a conclusion on.

Don't care huh? Sure doesn't seem like it. I'm still waiting for an explanation to the vast strategy of hockey other than knowing the rules and how to sub people. Even if they had "plays" or anything like that, in the end, its still guys flying back and forth shooting goals and hitting each other and there is no argument for that really.

Forechecking? 3-2 vs 1-2-2 vs 2-1-2 vs 1-4 vs 0-5, high or Low
