Understanding the offsides rule and the importance of the blue line helps a lot too. Since I explained that to my wife, she understands what's going on a lot better.

So basically the only strategy is subbing players in and hitting them hard....the end result being a bunch of guys flying around after a puck and shooting it in the goal.
