can't wait to hear the daily driving report once you get the car!
Well drove the wheels off it this afternoon. Car is mint. Some chips on the hood and airdam are the only body blemishes. The car still has the 'new car break in' procedure stickers on the windshield.
Wheels are curbed bad though, I knew this getting it. Evan at EAG threw in a brand new alcantara steering wheel re-wrap as a gift and a nice long sleeve pullover.
Car was better than described. Nothing was misrepresented.
Some dude in a work van kept on trying to race me oddly. Idiot almost rearended someone and had to go into the turn lane to stop. I wasn't even getting on it.
I wish it had more torque lower in the powerband, but it's quiet enough to rev.
I plan on getting a 3.91 rear end soon...

Curbed wheels... ouch... Surprised to hear that. Not surprised that the PO wouldn't take the time to remove the stickers from the windshield though, considering its history.
Also the steering wheel rewrap seems odd.. What was wrong with the original? It looks a bit loose on the wheel in the corners, is that normal?
IMO bumper and hood chips are not worth fixing until every 30k miles or so
Glad you got it Alky, enjoy it!
And WTF do you get 'prodded' to race so often? I drive a car that looks faster etc than yours and this is very very rare... I get people that just want to see me get on it a bit, but you seem to have tons of problems with this.
When you stare at the guy next to you and rev your engine, it happens.![]()
Hm, why deal with the clear bra on something like an m3? You can get a bumper and respray for cheap, and an m3 is a common car. On something more rare, ferrari or whatnot then yeah. I'm not trying to crap on the car or anything, just seems like a bit of overkill ?
Or live in S. Florida. Texas in some areas is even worse.
