So you ordered the wrong part and expect them them to pay for you to ship it back to them as well as shipping for the correct part?
At what point should the store wipe your ass because you made a mistake?

Gozu, you are one of the mindless idiots, who make doing business here in the USA, less than a joyful experience. They should, and CAN sue you. I show people like you door, about 3 times daily.
There are plenty of people to deal with on this earth. If you get indignant with me, act like I owe you something, try and steal from me (ie, trying to buy for less than I paid for it, you will suddenly become someone else's customer!)

Wow, I'd be embarrassed as hell to get on some rant-board, admit I received the wrong part because I ordered the wrong part, then tried to blame it on the reseller and demanded that they change their policy just for me, because I'm too dumb or careless to place an order correctly.
...
Though, I give you credit for admitting the mistake was yours, even if you did try to blame it on their shopping cart. Most gripers would have just said it was Google Gear's fault.

I think the day that stores came up with the slogan "the customer is always right" is the day that the customers decided the store owed them something.
I make ordering mistakes all the time but I take responsibility for my action, and don't try and rip off the store. Often they are more than willing to work something out, I still get stuck with a minor expense even then (i.e. shipping it back), but that's okay because that's LIFE.

you do understand that if you do what you just did (ie: answer each point negatively) you lose all credibility, don't you? don't say no. just think about it for a few minutes.
I could go all over your answer and do the exact same thing, but you know what? it's a dialogue between deaf people. and a waste of time. I have seen it done sooooo many times and the result was always a waste of bandwidth ending with both contestants sticking to their initial positions.
a couple things though: I didn't post this to gloat. I did it to show other people what courses of action get you somewhere, and which ones don't. Don't forget I called googlegear several times to try and work it out with them. and they hung up on me. Funny thing I was being very nice and they hung up while I was simply asking them if I had to ship back the package in a special way. And you might wanna work on your analogies. they aren't just bad, they are totally absurd. I mean seriously...work on them.
PS: don't think you "defeated me" or "enlightened me" with your post. If you want to discuss this whole thing further, I'd be glad to chat with you on IRC. I'm on efnet and my nick is gozu. friendly argumentative chat that is. If you just want to insult me, don't bother.
