I fear our reign at the top of the MTR ladder will soon be ending. :(

Unless somebody's holding back a TON of wu's...

Unfortunately the race is a couple of days too long, so my v2-account will not reach it's target. If we lose by 5 wu, I'm to blame.

Ah...no one's to blame. Blame for what? It's all fun and for the good of the team. PieDerro is really kicking some boo-tay in his assimilations and is burning up the charts and that's accounting for us about to fall to 2nd

I say...

Crunch on!

I'm about tapped out folks - I can't afford to build any more machines without selling off something else first, thus cutting into my production.

I started this thing with an average of roughly 40 WUs per day, and through a program of building and upgrading, I've managed to raise that to between 60 and 70 units per day, but that's as high as I can go!

Come on mates - let's see what's left as we don't have much time to regain our rightful spot! :Q ;)

I have two PIII-1.0GHz cpus just sitting in a box at home (came in yesterday) just dying to be installed...maybe I can get to it tonight before I head out for the game (UofL's in the NIT...not the NCAA but at least it's some post-season play :) )

Practice this in case they some how win the NIT:

We're #65! We're #65! We're #65! :Q

;)
//edit: btw, I am going to install 30 more computers for the bandits, you're going to third soon. :D

Woo hoo!!

My SQL Server is now a dual PIII-1.0GHz (with the ACPI Multiprocessor driver now loaded.
My W2K Active Directory domain controller is now a dual PIII-933 (also with the ACPI Multiprocessor driver loaded - has the PIII-933 that was in the SQL Server).

Getting my long, lost other Gateway server back tonight so I'll have ANOTHER PIII-933 to add to the mix.

Oh, and a question, is there a way to lower the processor usage of SetiQueue? I check in TaskMgr and it's running around 3-6% (varies).

And another oh...anyone have an old PCI/AGP video card they don't need? I don't need a very good performing card...just something to get my PII-350 back running again.

I have upgrades that should increase my firepower but they will come too late. I should be getting 2 XP 2000+ for the dualie on Friday and by next week 2 machines at work should be upgraded from PII266 and PII233 to at least Duron 1GHz maybe XP 1800s. I have a friends TBird 1.2 kicked in for now to help. I will keep looking for other avenues to produce more units.

:(

A PC rarely used by a contractor here where I work is no longer crunching. He'd gone into Task Manager and saw a service using up 99% of the cpu and stopped and disabled the service. And, a friend of mine, whose PC I'd assimilated, has all but stopped running SETI but he's using the PC for some big-time music recording so I can't blame him.

At least my long, lost Gateway 6400 returned home last night so I'll just about even out. Was hoping to try and boost a few more WUs before the end of the race (and accelerate and pass KCJeeper in my race :) ).

<sigh>

Too little too late, but......... added an Athlon XP 1600+ Friday nite.....
My Abit board that popped a few caps will be fixed next week, a Celeron 566@850 will go into it.
Got my P3 700 going @ 868mhz and still have my original 1600+, so all in all a small but decent fleet still.......

Come on E^5!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi All,

Sorry for being silent for 2 weeks, had to go for new systems training and couldn't get to a pc. :(

/me has to buy a laptop soon!!! :)

I see we're in 2nd place now, some really big assimilations went on during the race by a few of our race (Enemies) ;)

Good for the TeAm but not for the MTR. I checked my Q, because I can't get to Berkeley, wich is down since almost 5 hours now from what i read in the other threads, it seems the guy I put in charge of flushing the work fleet did his job.
I still have a few WUs to flush in my Q, hope berkeley gets working before 5 am pst.

Let's Get Them E^5!!! :):):)
