All of these are the exact same media. The Sony version burns at 2X on my Pioneer DVR105. The LD and Lead Data needed the firmware hack to burn at 2X speed. I bought two separate 50 disk spindles with the DVD cases for around $53 with free shipping. Burned about 20 disks so far and they play in every DVD player I tried, which is about seven different brands. Other people have had good success with these disks which are also sold at PC Club. Good compatibility with various players and good burning reliability.
The DVD cases are double disk cases which are pretty good. Even if you price the cases as low as 20 cents, this would equal $10 for 50 cases. $53.50 minus $10 equal $43.50 for the spindle of 50, which equals 87 cents per 2X speed disk. Not bad. I think the cases are worth more than 20 cents a piece, so this makes the deal even better.
