I downloaded and installed and played a while. I've been looking for a Diablo2 type game for a while, and this may be it. I enjoyed the 10-15 minutes I played. I also noticed that the res. what limited to 1280x1024.
Anyone know if this game is suppose to have a co-op way to play? That's what I'm really trying to find. Me and a buddy had a blast going thru D2 co-op. I sure hope this has it.

They seemed to have turned DS from a "Play itself game" to a "click fest". I used to be able to tell my fighters to just keep attacking something until it died in DS, now i have to keep clicking on the damned enemy to get them to continue attacking. I like it better the way it was...
Here's my current gaming map in no particular order:Originally posted by: WT
I did like the beta, but that was a small sample of the overall gameplay, so I might just buy it as nothing else is on my gaming map for months. Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is all I have left on my short list. Damn, I am gaming bored to death here.

Not very good reviews so far from most gamers, with most complaints being the horrible NPC AI, who frequently forget their issued orders and get slaughtered way too often. Also, only one save per character and you must restart the save from the town that you had left. That seems like a nod to the console world, as DS2 will probably show up on the XBox2. The controls in DS1 were incredibly easy to pick up, so now you have to go through a 20 minute tutorial to figure out that the commands and controls are quite crappy compared to the original.
ANY sequel should build on the success of the original, but this one looks like a stinker that had too many cooks in the kitchen. GPG had plenty of input and criticism leveled at it for DS1, so everyone expected more. But the graphics appear to be worse than DS1 (how is THAT possible ???) and the game has not added anything new to make it a worthwhile purchase.
Anyone else care to comment on it ? I did like the beta, but that was a small sample of the overall gameplay, so I might just buy it as nothing else is on my gaming map for months. Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is all I have left on my short list. Damn, I am gaming bored to death here.
