Being incredibly unfunny aside, how does this punchline even make sense? The guy is offering up both the quarters and the dollar rather than simply giving quarters to the kid. You must be the guy that likes forcing your way into a ongoing joke and kills the mood with a tangentially related, yet incredibly awkward and unfunny, comment. Way to be that guy.
