OP has a point. If the neighbor used a pressure washer instead of a garden hose, then they wouldn't be wasting water. ;)

Stop using cheap crappy electric pressure washers. A decent gas pressure washer is 3 gallons per minute.

Before you call your neighbors dumb, and submit your thread for all of us to view, you might consider: at least one space after a period, capitalize the first letter of a sentence, and learn the difference between your and you're. Also, I haven't quite figured out which preposition you intended for "is asphalt."

Saw thread title, figured the OP was the dumb one instead - turns out to be just the case.

I read the op yesterday. I didn't comment because i really couldn't figure out what he was getting at. I also didn't want to put in more then 2 seconds trying to figure it out.

figured i would come back today because by then some would have translated it.

just so many different things wrong with the OP's post..

Sometimes I turn on the garden hose and stick it down the storm drain and let it run, because Amurica!

I have a neighbor that pretty much does that. We have a about a years worth of water left here in the land of fruits and nuts, and a fellow up the street waters the crap out of his lawn. If I still had a lawn I could keep it green and healthy with the water running off of his property.

Well it's kinda true, it goes into the storm drains and eventually ends up back in the river where it came from. Will either get picked up by the same city or the next city downstream. The water sucked out of a river is a drop in the bucket compared to what is flowing past the intake for the treatment plant. But the actual treatment process takes effort and energy so that is more a waste than the water itself.

I don't get why people don't just use a big floor broom for cleaning their driveway, much easier than sitting there with a hose. Maybe water it down first to keep dust down but no need to go all crazy with the hose. There's a guy people always post about in spring on a local forum here who will just sit on a bucket and let the water flow out of the hose on his driveway and watch it. He's not actually even cleaning the driveway. Some people are weird.

Unless the law is being broken, that is a water ban or runoff to a reservoir, the OP should mind his own business. Busy body neighbors are a bigger problem.

Ahh, excellent contribution to this thread by complaining about grammar.

I think he forgot the "h" in his his. IMHO your better off renting a good one vs buying a cheap Harbor Freight unit, that's as long as the rental is not a beat-down POS.
