one wonders, how popping 19 kids out of what probably looks like a deflated canoe can make you famous?

I hate you for putting that vision of a hairy deflated canoe in my mind.

BTW, what color scheme were you envisioning that canoe to be?

Just ask'in. :sneaky::D

You made the claim, back it up or retract it.

She admitted to it. I don't need to back it up.

You can find out her rape claim pretty easily. It was debunked by several websites and she refused to come out and clear the guy who she clearly implicated. There was no other guy at the time that fit her profile and she won't clarify anything else.

No, I am just playing your game. You know what she says, but you won't debate the actual points, you're just going to play Whack-A-Mole to avoid that.

Points!?! Make a actual point. You've made the claim - back it up with information you've based your opinion on.

\that Duggar boy felt up his sisters...D:

Not my opinion, son. She admitted to doing it in her book.

Her book also falsely accused the guy, son.

If I recall correctly, she admitted to inspecting her one-year-old sister's vagina when she was seven-years-old herself and then ran to get her mother because her sister had shoved a bunch of gravel up there. That's hardly sexual molestation; that's a curious child behaving inappropriately without understanding the sexual implications behind what she was doing. She was seven, for God's sake; the Duggar lad was a teenager and did it with, what, five different sisters? They aren't in the same ballpark. Lena Dunham drives me nuts (she's as self-possessed as Kim Kardashian but too myopic to notice), but her actions were not as bad as Josh Duggar's.

Do you have kids? How many 1yr olds you know have the dexterity, let alone knowledge, and ability, to stick rocks up there? Furthermore, where was the diaper? Clothes? Yes, very convenient.

Just as convenient as her lies of the "rape".

By her admission this behavior continued long past that.

http://twitchy.com/2014/12/30/gawke...ht-wing-antagonists-by-outing-alleged-rapist/

Where she repeatedly edited her "rape" to make it more nefarious and then implicate the wrong guy. The potential "right" guy didn't get close either. Wonder why?

But hey, she was just interested in lying, not finding "justice".

*you* made a particular claim, *you* get to back it up. When and how did she molest her sister and how is what happened comparable to what the Duggar boy did to at least 5 girls?

C'mon, you're a big boy on the interwebs, you know how this stuff works.

Never said they were the same. Show me where I did.

Yes, I have an 8 month old daughter, and she's already gotten to the point where she'll go spread eagle and start playing with her vagina while I'm trying to change her. It still sounds a little absurd that a 1-year-old could negotiate her diaper and get a handful of gravel in her vagina, but not completely unbelievable. And regardless, Lena Dunham was seven. Are you seriously claiming that a seven year old has sexual motivations behind inappropriate touching? It's an inherently different situation than a teenage boy molesting his sisters for sexual experimentation.

Your words were:

"I never said Duggar should be defended, in fact, I think both Duggar and Dunham should be treated the exact same way. Shows removed, exiled from public life."

If you think that they should be treated the same way you must find some equivalence between the two situations.

So, "When and how did she molest her sister and how is what happened comparable to what the Duggar boy did to at least 5 girls?"

I watched about 15 minutes of the show at my aunt's house one time. I don't understand how those shows draw people. It was really boring to me. All they did was get on their short bus and ride to a sports practice or something. Then they cut away a few times to individuals that made little remarks about insignificant stuff.

The boy is obviously messed up, but damn think of the perfect storm that boy was put in:

1) Christian family that shames sexuality
2) Sin to beat off
3) Hormones raging hard in the teen years
4) Surrounded by girls

No really that surprising that something went down. Shit the odds of being a pervert is probably close to 1/20, so statistics were solid.

I get a rash just thinking about having to watch a show like that.

I'd rather buy a really cheap TV and watch Bill O'Reilly or Rush Limbaugh get all full of themselves so I can throw a brick right at them and out the back side of the set.

Now that's entertainment.

Remember.

Modern day (US) conservatives know how bad their shithole brand is viewed by the public, so they've stopped defending their shithole brand, and instead ATTACK!ATTACK!ATTACK! the other side by saying:

BothSides™.

It's a reflex at this point.

Duggar boy (literally a conservative spokesperson who takes photos with conservative US politicians) admits to feeling up multiple sisters over time. Not just taking his time while changing their diapers to take a little looksie.

Copping a f-ing feel. Of their genitals. To get off.

Lena Dunham (who as far as I know isn't some sort of libruuuuuul spokeswoman cashing in on her libruuuuul bona fides) admits to inspecting her sister's vagina. Since I'm not making the claim, I can't say whether she says in a book that she was feeling her sister up to get off like the Duggar scumbag did. As far as I can tell by the ACCUSER, she said "inspect".

Somewhat different regardless of your personal gutter imagination.

But hey. Gotta bring up some libruuuuuul since it isn't even remotely possible to defend your own personal brand so...you know the drill...

BOTHSIDES!!!111!!!!11111!!!!!

It's a cognitive reflex at this point for them.

Welcome to 'Murrica.

I'd love to have a conversation about Canadian politics sometime to see just how f-ing insane US politics are in comparison. Of course, over here in 'Murrica, our libruuuuuls are basically your conservatives, but that's a topic for another thread. Because freedom.

Also: Benghazi.

I dunno, I look south and think that my neighbour is insane.

Ben Ghazi. Good thing he's dead and can't cause anymore trouble.
