1 pound. ONE POUND??!! :confused: WTF, dumbasses? You've got 18 kids already and oh, that's not enough apparently. Jesus must've told you to have "Just one more, buddies!" HUH?

One pound. Even with all the miracles modern technology has to offer that poor baby has a chance of about 1% to survive. When she doesn't make it I hope one of you (if not both) have your reproductive system shut off, permanently. It's bad enough you've severely overpopulated the earth. But now that you're incapable of bringing a fully-developed fetus to term you continue to try. The Creator has gifted humans with intelligence above all other animals. Apparently though, you two were in the bathroom when the intelligence was being doled out.

Who said anything about support? "Support" as in money? I didn't say anything about that. Money does not equal class, or intelligence or a permanently healthy reproductive system. I can guarantee you that these people will continue to pretend they're responsible for the repopulation of the earth, even if this new baby dies. You cannot deter Jesus freaks. I have one in my family, so I know this for fact. "God will provide" <--that is the answer for EVERYTHING from preemie babies to nuclear war to ants in the sugar jar.

Actually the survival would more depend on weeks that the baby has been in the Mom. The article didn't say but since they where due March 18 that means the baby is a little over 3-months premature. So probably they baby had around 26 weeks in the mother. At 26 weeks the survival rate is fairly high however the chance of having a handicap is also there at around 40%. I hope that everything turns ok for the Duggar's and there new baby.

No, that would be a matter of science and modern medicine to save your dumbass. The same shit thats allowing you to have this many kids and the same shit that saved your last child becuse youre too fucking selfish to stop having kids when your body is unable to fully bring them to term anymore.

While I agree that they should stop having kids IF the wife isn't capable of giving birth to healthy kids anymore, But all the LARGE FAMILIES ARE DETESTABLE, anti-Christianity, overpopulation BS from you guys is laughable.

If they are physically capable of having healthy kids and they can financially support themselves and raise them, they should be able to have as many kids as they want.

First... way to shirk the responsibility onto god. I'm sure a being that overseas the universe is vastly concerned about your family planning.

Second... if a god existed that would kill an unborn child to punish the parents, then that god can go f*ck himself. Why would someone want to worship and praise such a bastard?

And third... if this child develops severe physical and mental handicaps is that god's plan, too? His plan is for the child to suffer a life of misery? What an awesome god.

hope she does ok
one of my sisters was very premature, just a couple of pounds, but back in 1986 she was on the borderline of survivability
