actually if you watch the other vid the pivot point moves to the center of the gap as you swing, i doubt it would happen, the amount of free fall basically centered them before they even swung out
 
Yeah, it's sad to me that there are so many people today who can watch something like this and almost immediately come to the conclusion that it's fake. There are some skeptical people out there. Of course, they probably also watched Star Wars, Episode I and the first time they saw Jar Jar yelled, "Hey everyone, that's fake!" in the theater.

Scary.. not sure I could do that. The key thing is to JUMP right when you get strapped up, though. People make it so much worse for themselves by standing there forever. I know this from some cliff-to-water jumps I've done, some I would never do again because they were insane. I just had to walk up not think about it and jump ASAP
