Anyone else with skin dryness in the winter especially around the eyes? Every night I seem to be unconsciously scratching my eyes out despite having a humidifier running right next to me on high. I put moisturizer on and a few hours into the night I'm already scratching. Vaseline seems to be the only thing that doesn't burn, but that doesn't last all night either. As a result, I have red or darkened skin there throughout each day, not unlike how a sick person would look.
I believe it's because skin is thin around the eyes and it's the first to dry out. I'm just asking if I'm alone in dealing with this with my eyes every damn winter. Will drinking excess water alleviate the problem?
This only happens in winter and I'm healthy otherwise.
