The car spun out to the left of the road. After the text break it's now on the right side of the road. Not sure if after the first spinout they let her start drving again or if it's a different person'video.
But either way, I've called the cops to report drunk drivers before. I don't go out of my way and follow them off the freeway but I'll stay behind them until they get there...

Um, no. "Vigilante justice" is convicting and punishing a law breaker. Simply following one and notifying the police is being a good Samaritan. Taking her keys after an accident is more of the same.
Also, they did NOT go on a power trip. Quite the opposite, they lacked the power they needed to stop her from driving again... also to stop her from damaging their property.
Citizen arrest laws exist for a reason. They were legally allowed to restrain her and should have done so rather than allowing her to run around like she did.

2 days ago, i almost ran into a van driven by another stupid bitch who tried to do UTURN into my lane from the opposite direction. At that stretch of the road, it has 2 solid lines dividing the road which means NO LANE CHANGE WHATSOEVER.
So yes i honked like mad and i have to swirl into the oncoming traffic to avoid her and i was soo pissed. She had kids in the van too and i pity them

im not saying there was anything wrong with what they did or that they went on a power trip.
im simply stating that it is worth noting that the amount of power that person suddenly weilded was a bit unnerving. i wasnt trying to suggest that they were going crazy or overstepping any bounds or that it would even be conisdered an act out of the ordinary. its just that this film is so far removed from me, i can see it in the light i mentioned.
( i know its not vigilante justice. there have been a few threads about "real" superheroes lately and i was just trying to tie them together in a particularly lazy fashion)

I like the video where a cop pulls this chick over for suspected drunk driving. She gets out of the car, already sobbing, and in a very slurry voice says, "Officer, I swear I didn't do anything wrong. I wasn't drinking; I wasn't driving."
