I agree 100% this country is entirely overmediated. Everyone and their mom is on some sort of anti-depressant.

I know one person (a minor) whose parents are trying to force him to take antidepressants, and since he refused, he is grounded![]()

Too bad the bones can't stay in place when the myofacial tissue pull them back into misalignment a week later.Originally posted by: eits

actually, i chose chiropractic school over med school... it's amazing how getting a couple midthoracic adjustments will make you get rid of your sports induced asthma and muscular back pains rather than huffing albuterol and taking at least 9 advils each day will make you change your views on health care.

You aslo forgot to mention that an actual rolfing session can be slightly to midly painful.
Completely worth it though.
Luckily I started young and will continue to have routine maintenance my entire life.Originally posted by: eits

oh, yeah... definitely. they're moderately painful and cause people to sweat throughout the treatments. but, as tweak says, it's worth it depending on how bad your biomechanics are. i think that whenever i have my practice, i'm going to refer a couple of my patients who've got really bad biomechanics to a rolfer and then just maintain the work the rolfer's done.

A majority of the individuals that take medication for serious mental illnesses such as depression actually need them.
