Drug Test For Job

Ok here's my situation. I got interviewed for a job last week and they may be calling me tomorrow to take a drug test. I'm not sure if it's going to be urine, hair, saliva, or blood.
Ok so i've only smoked about 4 times in my life, once in february, twice in march, and once in april. Do you think i'll be able to pass any if not all of these tests?

I was assuming this and just about praying to god it is this. It's the least expensive but it's also the least accurate :/ I also think i'd pass a blood or saliva test (based on internet research) 😛

Unless they do a hair test, which is very rare I might add, you'll pass with flying colors.

You have to smoke every day for months or even years for it to take more than a couple of weeks to be clean.

Pee is almost always the primary test. Don't worry about. You're about to get tested little acorn

Finally a hippie avatar 🙂 And for the hair test, I've probably trimmed my hair with a #2 guard twice since the time in April. Would that make a difference or would it be more prevalent at the tips of my hair?
 
You think that a random employer would use anything BUT a urine test? Pfffft.

They use urine tests for medical jobs, pharmaceutical jobs, delivery jobs, ... when a driver gets in an accident, the first thing the employer does is sends them to take a urine drug test.

Also, if you're worried about a hair test, there are places that sell shampoos that can remedy that situation.

I thought it was a bit odd too. I am employed through a temp agency though. Not sure if that was a requirement of the temp agency or the actual place I work at.


the real answer though is don't do drugs. then you don't have to worry about it.

Probably the temp agency -- they might carry liability.
 
There are a lot of drinks that act as a random? diuretic for me. Things such as coca cola (dark sodas) Gatorade, coffee. Sometimes i pee a lot when i drink them, sometimes i don't but i'm pretty sure my system is very well flushed out by now.
 
I got hair, blood, and urine tested at my first job. However, I was working in a refinery, so there was good reason. Plus they would test employees at random. They took hair off my chest, so my then GF called me "patches" for awhile...

I'm going to be working for the city, like beautification and sanitation. At the interview they told me they conduct random drug tests. So I'm not going to get blazed or something for a celebration 😛
 
I remember flipping out because I ate a poppy seed bagel the night before the drug test. They increased the tolerances in many states to get away from the false positives. Still didn't help me from flipping out though.
