i thought the post title was a euphamism. my erection is disappointed.

don't open any threads that say 'brblx choppin' wood!' btw.

I'm confused by your choice in apple pressing attire

I had just gotten home from work - as every minute ticks by, the light gets a little worse. The magic of making movies allowed me to actually pick and wash the apples the day before (and then gave them another quick rinsing before shooting the video.)

Dang, that looks so delicious! The apples are nice and small, bet they are perfect cider apples. Do you know what variety they are?

I said I'd throw a video together the other day, and so, I kept my word. Here's how to make apple cider:

And, I'll be spending part of today filling every container I can find with cider & tossing them into the freezer.
I guess that in the style of Yoyohowsdajello, I could probably take requests.

Nice video. That looks tasty. Although the flywheel helps out, great way to get a healthy amount of exercise. "farm life", sigh...

I guess that's how apples used to look before they were covered in pesticides. These ones look bruised and like they've been eaten up by bugs. I'm sure the end result is fine, though. I've gone apple picking before and the white residue of poison is actually quite hard to remove.

That cider press is old... was it built by Harvey in his youth? 🙂
I know how old Harvey is, and I'm pretty sure the cider press is older than Harvey. The best I can tell is that it was made around the turn of the century (1890 to 1910)

It's extra protein if they are still in there. :awe:

Dr, do your goats faint when they get scared or at random times it seems as I forgot but if it's based on a random sound or such do you ever make a loud noise when a bunch are nearby to see how many you can get and then see if someone can beat you in the total? 😛

So what is the difference between apple cider and apple juice?

If you don't mind me asking (over here it's apple juice whether it's cloudy or not, and cider would be the alcoholic drink, but maybe that's just because I have never looked into it...).

Apple juice is generally filtered and/or homogenized. Cider is just pressed. Hard cider or Apple Jack is fermented.
