Shipping Up to Boston is good - until they start yelling/"singing".

Exactly. That's the only one I've heard, and it sounds great until the vocals.

With their revolving door of lead singers, they have been having Ken Casey, the other vocalist singing a lot more in the songs. He is the Gruffier more yelling-ish. I always liked him more supplemental in the band and always liked him playing second fiddle to Al Barr's stuff. With Barr gone it seems like songs feature Casey much more, something that kind of gets to be too much.

All their early stuff was really great. I haven't really liked much of what they put out since Blackout. Especially that stupid shipping up to boston song. In my opinion they went down hill after Spicy left to get married. With that said, The Gang's All Here and Sing Loud, Sing Proud are easily two of my favorite albums of all time. They have been around since like 96.

I saw them about 9 times in concert and I have to say they are outstanding live. I was actually at the "Live on St. Patrick's Day" show at the Avalon up in Boston when they recorded that live album.

Let's go Murphy's!

EDIT: Oh and here is significantly better songs...

Good Rats
Spicy McHaggis Jig
Barroom Heroes
Devil's Brigade
Forever
and my favorite:
Caps and Bottles

Eh, I wouldn't call Warrior's Code bad (came after Blackout.) I thought it was an okay album, however The Meanest of Times was downright awful.

I never said bad, I said I didn't like it nearly as much as I liked the first 3 albums, which are some of my favorite albums of all time.

I like them. Saw them in concert in St. Paul this summer.

EDIT: Saw Flogging Molly last year and they were maybe a little better, but I liked them both.

At the Irish Fair? Wish I could have gone but I was busy that whole weekend.
