Droid X Android 2.3 update?

This is really turning into a depressing start to the weekend. I tried to go OTA, and update failed.

You need to be 100% stock 2.2. If you removed bloat put it back on.

they really improved maps. it was almost unusable before. you would pinch out to zoom in and it would zoom etc,, its all been fixed.

does anyone know if they improved the 3g connection stability. it used to lose the connection periodically and you would have to put in airplane mode to reconnect

Ive never had those issues before. Not in 2.1, 2.2 or 2.3

I finally got it, but it took me hours of trying. As a bonus my gmail notifications work again! I am stii rooted. Did the "method 2"
